Line Cook

Part Time or Full Time

Reports To: Executive Chef/Culinary Leads

Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring products meet all recipes standards
  • Maintaining proper production levels
  • Knowledge of all applicable food preparation methods and measures
  • Knows and understands all cooking tools and measurement conversions
  • Communicating and maintaining proper staffing levels with daily volume
  • Insuring proper handling and storage of food items as per internal and Health Department standards
  • Maintaining integrity with food and understanding labor guides
  • Has good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding and following all policies and procedures
  • Maintaining levels of product and communicating with team when more is needed
  • Ability to take and give direction, assign tasks, follow up with assigned tasks, coach for success and work directly with the team to create a family like environment safe & fun for all.
  • Wiping counter areas, sinks and floors as required to maintain a clean safe working environment
  • Following all daily opening & closing tasks while maintain productivity levels during the shift
  • Must show skills in cold prep, sauté station, saucier, and fry station where menu applies
  • Providing personalized service and uses guests’ names when possible while interacting
  • Knowing and promoting the brands programs and can provide the guests information

To be succesful in this position it will require the following skill set:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred but not necessary 1-3 years prior experience as cook in restaurant environment
  • Must be able to obtain Serve Safe certification
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation, and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Familiar with all phases of food preparation techniques or ability to learn on job
  • Required to taste and smell foods
  • Knowledge of weights, measures and recipe yield
  • Maintain kitchen issues culinary tools (knives) to perform the necessary job functions
  • Read, write legibly, understand English and communicate back
  • Excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
  • as needed based on off-site and on-site catered events and pop ups and regular restaurant hours
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as described in the uniform policy
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
  • Able to work in constricting areas
  • Must be able to tolerate areas with high temperatures
  • Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

Front of House

Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
  • Attend to customers upon entrance
  • Knowledge of all applicable food preparation methods and allergies
  • Help customers select food/beverages
  • Take and serve orders in a timely manner
  • Insuring proper handling and storage of food items as per internal and Health Department standards
  • Has good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding and following all policies and procedures
  • Maintaining levels of product and communicating with team when more is needed
  • Ability to take and give direction, complete assigned tasks, follow up with assigned tasks, and work directly with the team to create a family like environment safe & fun for all.
